What Right to Work legislation does...
- Preserves the right of all individuals in the work force to decide for themselves what organizations to which they want to join and pay dues.
- Prevents a worker from being forced to leave a job for refusing to join and pay dues to a union.
- Bans the compulsory payment of dues.
What Right to Work legislation does not do...
- Interfere with the right of unions to organize.
- Prevent any worker from voluntarily joining and paying dues to any organization.
